Sam is a Video Investment Manager at Anchor. Sam has nearly a decade of media experience, with majority time spent in corporate trade. She started her career at Active International in Local television and radio, and then moved over to National Media at Sherwood Integrated Solutions. Sam spent a few years at Zenith working on traditional National Video for Sonic and Arby’s. She is happy to be back in the corporate trade world with the Anchor team. Sam has a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Communications from State University of New York at Cortland. In her free time, Sam enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dogs.
Jamie is Director of Business Development for Anchor. Prior to Anchor Jamie had a successful career in the futures industry working in the energy trading pits of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) as an energy trader. After leaving the floor he held various front office institutional sales positions at firms such as Cargill, MF Global, Jefferies, ED&F Man and Bank of America/Merrill Lynch.
Jamie is responsible for identifying and developing Corporate Trade opportunities for Anchor. His role keeps him engaged in the entire sales process. Jamie lives is Glen Rock, NJ with his wife and three college aged sons. He is actively involved in the community, volunteering for multiple organizations. When not at Anchor Jamie can be found routing for Alabama football or riding his bicycle obscene distances. He is also a 5x Ironman finisher.
Hunter Rocks is a Digital Manager at Anchor. Hunter is responsible for assisting in the planning, trafficking, implementation, and client reporting for Anchor’s direct and programmatic digital campaigns. Prior to starting at Anchor, Hunter spent four years in the Army stationed at Fort Hood and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. When he isn’t working he enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as making pottery.
Amanda has been working in media handling client relationships, negotiating deals, and managing the day-to-day business of multiple high-profile clients including Reckitt Benckiser, Santa Margherita, Georgia Pacific, Nestle, Sears, Firehouse Subs, Ally Bank, Kikkoman, and McCormick for over 10 years. As the VP of Digital Media, Amanda continues to expand on these roles whilst mentoring and managing her team.
Prior to joining Anchor, Amanda started her career at Active International in the Print and Out of Home department before making the switch to Digital two years into her career. Amanda was one of the first members of the digital team at Active International and played a role in growing their digital business, especially in the programmatic space. She took lead on switching from managed service to self-service with The Trade Desk and was hands on, in-platform managing millions of dollars in programmatic activity for Reckitt Benckiser, among others.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications with a minor in Advertising from State University of New York at Oneonta. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
Michael is Vice President of Business Development for Anchor. Prior to setting his career path in the Corporate Trade industry, Michael had a successful career in the publishing and special-events industry where he led strategic relationships with clients such as SAP, ECOLAB, Cintas Corporation, ADT Security, Ralston Foods, Johnson Controls and Tyco Integrated Security. In addition, Michael has held various senior level management positions at Eaton Hall Exhibitions, SYS-CON Media, and Reed Elsevier.
Michael is responsible for identifying and developing all Corporate Trade opportunities for Anchor. before joining Anchor, Michael was Director of New Business Development at Sherwood Trading Group, and the Founder & President of Sales Pulse Consulting, an independent sales, marketing, and business development firm.
Michael is an avid supporter of various local and national charities and organizations including Carry the Load and Our Military Kids and plays a crucial role in building out Anchor Support, the charitable arm of Anchor Media Services.
Michael is a graduate of Stockton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. He lives in Nutley, NJ with his wife and two daughters. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends coaching the girls in soccer and baseball, and rooting for his beloved New York Jets (sadly, of course).
Alan is the Chief Digital Officer for Anchor. For the past 20 years, Alan has been at the forefront of Digital Media and Technology starting when he was a stockbroker for First Security Investments in the late 1990’s. It was there that Alan’s interest in emerging technologies was ignited as he closely followed companies such as Ericsson, who at the time, was developing one of the first routers to enable real-time mobile transactions that allowed payments using mobile phones.
Realizing where the world was heading in terms of online trading and commerce, Alan left the securities industry to become Vice President of Sales for Traffix, Inc., a publicly traded company on Nasdaq that specialized in Performance Media, Direct Response, Search and Lead Generation.
With now a deep understanding of the digital landscape, in 2006 Alan left Traffix to join Active International to build out Active’s digital practice. During his tenure at Active, Alan rose quickly through the ranks ultimately becoming their Global Chief Digital Officer in 2014. In this role, Alan guided the global growth of their digital business and as media continued to evolve, Alan spearheaded the seamless integration of Active’s Print and Out-of-Home departments into one Integrated Media department.
In 2016, Alan led the acquisition team for the purchase of two digital media agencies, Involved Media, a social media agency and Iron Traffic, a programmatic media company. Alan was named C.E.O. of the newly formed agency, Involved Media, shortly after the acquisitions.
Throughout his career, Alan has directly managed and overseen digital media strategy and execution for clients including Colgate-Palmolive, Reckitt Benckiser, Diageo North America, Scotts Miracle-Gro, Quicken Loans, Pella Windows, McCormick & Company, iRobot, and Legendary Films, to name a few.
Alan studied Business Administration at PACE University in Pleasantville, NY. He has spoken on and moderated panels for the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and has penned multiple op-eds for AdExchanger and other digital industry publications.
Alan is a devoted family man living with his wife, three sons and two dogs in New City, NY. When his schedule permits, he also assists in coaching his sons’ baseball and basketball teams.
