Sean founded Anchor with a dual mission. First, provide clients with a powerful financial and marketing service that delivers the clients’ quality media, improves their EBITDA and increases their cash flow. Second, provide employment opportunities to Veterans while giving charitable support to select Veteran causes.
Upon completion of active duty in the United States Navy where he served onboard the U.S.S. Thorn (DD-988), in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Sean graduated from the State University of New York at Cortland with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science with a Concentration in International Relations.
In 1996, Sean joined Active International as a Media Market Specialist in Local Broadcast and rose quickly through the ranks into Active’s Sales and Account Management Department as Vice President of Sales for Enterprise Accounts. In this role, Sean was responsible for managing complex Corporate Trade and Media programs for Fortune 1000 Companies. In 2008, Sean left Active International to join Sherwood Trading Group as Executive Vice President. At Sherwood, Sean was responsible for the day-to-day sales, media and asset operations for all Corporate Clients.
With close to 30 years of experience in media, marketing, finance and Corporate Trade, Sean has negotiated and managed more than 400transactions involving media, sponsorships, real estate, fleet vehicles, capital equipment, trade claims, and virtually every type of consumer product inventory. Some clients include Upbound/Rent-A-Center, Beiersdorf, L’Oreal, General Mills, United States Marine Corps (USMC), Electrolux AB, New Era Cap, William Grant & Sons, Santa Margherita Wines, Robert Bosch Corporation, Trex, Dean Foods, and Danone.
Sean is an active participant and supporter of his community and Veteran causes. He sits on the Board of Directors for B.R.i.D.G.E.S., the Advisory Council for New York State’s PFC Joseph Patrick Dwyer Vet-to-Vet Program, and Rockland Community College’s Veteran Affairs Board. He is also an Ambassador for Carry The Load, a 501(c)(3) national charity whose mission is to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day while honoring and supporting our Military, First-Responders, Firefighters and Police Officers.
He and his wife are lifelong residents of Congers, NY where they are raising their three children.
Mike oversees the day-to-day media operations, execution, and deliverables for all of Anchors’ clients.
For the past 23 years, Mike has held various leadership roles in the media and advertising industry. Mike’s passion for exceeding client expectations is seen in his determination and attention to detail, delivering superior media results and account service for Anchor clients.
Mike’s extensive background in the media industry spans numerous categories helping drive client’s businesses in industries such as Pharmaceutical, Apparel, Retail, Wine & Spirits, Electronics and Consumer Packaged Goods. He has managed integrated media campaigns for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Eli-Lilly, Glaxo SmithKline, Novartis, P&G, New Era Cap, American Home Products, Cannon, William Grant & Sons, Bacardi USA, Stoli Group USA, Santa Margherita Wines, Playtex, Energizer and Rent-A-Center.
Before joining Anchor, Mike spent ten years as Communications Planning Director at Grey Advertising and Mediacom, both part of WPP, and eight years at Sherwood Trading Group where he managed the media operations for all of Sherwood’s Corporate Trade clients.
Mike is a graduate of Siena College with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management. He resides in Northern New Jersey with his wife (who is also his college sweetheart) and their two sons. He is a family man through and through, enjoys coaching his sons’ sports teams, hiking, and camping with the family, and enjoys playing the occasional round of golf.
David is the Chief Financial Officer of Anchor Trading. Over the past thirty-five years, David has held various senior financial positions within the advertising and media industry. David was the Vice President, Director of International Finance & Operations for Active International between 1994 and 2002. During that time, David was responsible for all financial reporting and operations for Active’s foreign offices.
David left Active in 2002 and went on to hold senior and executive finance and operational roles at GroupM, Havas, and The Cornerstone Agency, an experiential creative agency. Prior to joining Anchor in 2016, David was the Chief Financial Officer for Sherwood Trading Group for more than four years.
Throughout his career, David has overseen all aspects of financial operations, reporting, and analysis, working closely with global clients, including Campbell’s Soup Company, William Grant & Sons, Cadbury, Diageo, Energizer, and Johnson & Johnson.
David is a graduate of Rutgers University with degrees in both Accounting and Psychology, he also holds a Master of Business Administration from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management.
When David is not at his desk, he competes in Spartan Races. Throughout his participation, he has helped raise thousands of dollars for Veteran-related charities including Carry the Load, Our Military Kids and Wounded Warrior Project. David is also an avid hiker, and has climbed Mount Kathadin, Half Dome and Angels Landing to name a few. He lives in Montvale, NJ with his four children.
Eric Pisick, EVP Client Partnerships, oversees all client services within Anchor Trading, including managing Anchor’s internal and external Sales teams, as well as a team of client account leads.
For more than 20 years, Eric has been a leader in the media industry, working across a range of leadership roles in media strategy, trading, commercials, account management, and investment. Throughout his career, Eric has managed Fortune 500 accounts within Pharma, CPG, Finance, Telecom, QSR, Luxury Brands, and Travel categories. Some of Eric’s most notable clients are JPMorgan Chase, Oracle, Caesars Entertainment, and H&M.
Before joining Anchor Trading, Eric spent more than 18 years at Publicis, spearheading the development of new client service models. Eric had many roles at Publicis over those years. He served as the President of Commercials, Partnerships, and Growth, leading The Walt Disney Company’s media investment, and managing all commercial relationships for the firm’s Publicis Imagine unit. Before that, he served as US President of APEX, a trading division within Publicis Groupe which doubled in size under his stewardship. He was responsible for all business operations and overseeing media activity across digital, video, OOH, and audio media channels.
Eric champions an integrated communication framework that advocates collaboration across Anchor and its clients ensuring that Anchor delivers exceptional value and results to our clients.
Eric is a graduate of Hamilton College and lives in New Jersey with his wife, Katy, and two sons, Sammy, and Theo. Eric is an avid reader, a Boston sports fan and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and his dog, Peaches.
As the Director of New Business, Joe is responsible for identifying business opportunities through cold calling and emailing. He’s looking to identify consumer advertisers with any type of underperforming assets, like excess inventory, MRO parts, Real Estate or fleet vehicles.
Prior to joining Anchor, Joe was a student at Binghamton University, he graduated summa cum laude in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentration in Finance.
Joe lives in Congers, NY and enjoys spending time with his friends and family, as well as rooting for his New York Yankees and New York Jets.
Morgan Wahler, Media Coordinator at Anchor Trading, assists in the digital, traditional out-of-home, and television sectors within the media department. Her multifaceted support showcases her versatility and ability to adapt to the dynamic landscape of the industry.
Morgan graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Prior to joining the Anchor Trading team, Morgan spent two years with The Wilner Group as an Administrative and Marketing Intern, where she played an instrumental role in the successful execution of various marketing objectives.
In her free time, Morgan enjoys being outdoors (specifically, at the beach during the warmer months) and spending quality time with her family, friends, and dogs!
With more twenty-five years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Dean has a long track record of successfully guiding local, national and international clients with commercial real estate acquisitions, lease obligations, asset reposition and dispositions. He possesses an exceptional balance of market knowledge and asset expertise with a strong commitment of service to his clients. His specific areas of expertise include strategic planning, space utilization, transaction management, and financial structuring and restructuring. Dean specializes in applying his expertise and market knowledge to broker commercial office, industrial, retail and international properties which optimizes Anchor’s clients’ real estate assets helping them achieve their business and financial goals.
Before joining Anchor, Dean worked at Studley (now Savills Studley), a major commercial real estate investment brokerage in the New York marketplace. Dean’s experience and deep understanding both play an integral role in his ability to advise clients on lease negotiations, owned properties, retail space, construction & development of commercial real estate and sale-leaseback projects.
Throughout his career, Dean has helped a number of Fortune 1000 companies structure major real estate transactions including national retailers, major financial institutions, and some of the largest professional firms in America including International Paper, Wells Fargo, and Triple 5, to name a few.
Dean attended Quinnipiac College and is a licensed commercial real estate broker. In his free time, Dean enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He resides in Northern New Jersey with his wife and two children.
Sam has a decade of media experience, with majority time spent in Corporate Trade.
Sam started her career at Active International in local television and radio, and then moved over to National Media at Sherwood Integrated Solutions. Sam spent a few years at Zenith working on traditional National Video for Sonic and Arby’s and then came back to Corporate Trade joining the Anchor Trading team.
Sam has a bachelor’s degree of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Communications from State University of New York at Cortland.
In her free time, Sam enjoys reading and spending time with family, friends, and her pets.
